Content vs politics 

‘Cook up a storm’: 

Looks really good.

As does ‘This Beautiful Fantastic’: (not AS good but there’s food in the other, it was never going to compete.)

These are both considered indie films. It took me awhile, cuz I just wasn’t thinking or caring, to know that it was just not one of the big production company’s that made it. 

That strikes me as stupid. 

A movie should be indie because of the content, the style of filming or maybe even the people involved being lesser known celebreties. 

‘Personal Shopper’, looking at the trailer, seemed indie and yet it is hyped massively and I’m not sure what that means anymore.

Hollywood is strange. They play by their own rules like congress and I wish politics were less the point and content more important…
